Alberta Wing Shack is multi location restaurant chain specializing in flavored wings and other related food products. With fast growth and high demand, it was time for Alberta Wing Shack to expand their operation into a new market. Being that they had already established locations in Banff and Canmore, Cochrane was a natural fit for their next endeavor. They decided to choose 201 Grand Blvd for their location and Hawi Construction was contracted to design and build the interior improvement.

The previous tenant of the space was a real estate firm who occupied a double wide bay for many years. Hawi Construction was awarded the work to demolish the interior and convert the bay into two new lease spaces. With a limited timeline, Hawi Construction was able to complete the full demolition and start new construction in only 3-days. There were some significant upgrades required to bring the interior up to code, included upgrading the demising wall between bays 2-3, upgrading the wall penetrations to meet fire code and converting the space to allow for barrier free access all whilecausing minimal disruptions to the neighboring tenants.

• Frame and drywall interior 2-hour demising wall.

• Reroute under slab plumbing and electrical.

• Pour interior concrete.

• Electrical, plumbing and HVAC upgrades.

• Interior framing and turnkey finishing.
